In this final 3 day conference, the entire MetaScience team past and present will discuss the results of their work on the 5 year research project funded by the European Research Council (No 771509).
The event will feature an overview of the project by our PI Tuomas Tahko and then talks from the project members and the project advisory board on the unity and metaphysics of science.

The conference is on the themes of the forthcoming book Dispositions and Powers, part of the Cambridge Elements Series in Metaphysics (ed. Tuomas Tahko) authored by Toby Friend and Samuel Kimpton-Nye.
This workshop illuminates the discussion about the role and nature of kinds in the sciences, across the sciences, and beyond.
MetaScience provided the local organisation for the SMS7 conference. Many members of the team presented papers and Tuomas gave the Presidential Address.
This 3-day Zoom conference featured wide-ranging talks concerning the topic of Realisation and Composition across the Sciences.
The second annual joint workshop with Al Wilson's ERC project team was held online.
For our first foray into online events, MetaScience invited abstracts on the topic of Methodological Issues in the Metaphysics of Science.
The FOMoS workshop sought to find new ways to apply work on ontological categories and formal ontological relations to case studies from the metaphysics of science.
